My first attempt of using magic to do a motivational speech

I have been doing lectures for a couple of years by now, my first lecture/seminar was on Magic & Creativity which I delivered at the School of MultiMedia at City University back then when I was still a year 2 student at law school, I have done nearly 50 lectures to magicians teaching and sharing my thoughts as well as discoveries in card magic in the last 6 years. However, this morning (precisely speaking, yesterday morning, 10 A.M. 20/11/2009), for the first time in my life, I did a motivational speech with magic, it's an absolutely unique and pleasing experience.

Since there's a confidentiality clause for this private booking, so I am not in a position to disclose the details of this talk, but I had to say that I have done quite some amount of preparation works because of the very nature of it, which gives me an opportunity to review my own path as a magic artist and to think about the personality transformations that magic has effect on me, well...it brings back a lot of fond memories.

On the way back to the studio, I kept thinking about a lot of "what if" after the speech, what if I didn't get to meet Dave Lord at Brisbane when I was doing my first Australian tour(meeting with Dave Lord is the turning point of my life, I have decided to become a magician after meeting him)? What if I had become a lawyer instead of a professional magician after I finished my legal study at Sydney University? What kind of life style that I would have been leading? Perhaps, most importantly, what kind of person that I would have been become?

In any event, I am very thankful to the client that booked me for this speech.

Being a professional magician obviously couldn't guarantee a stable life, but, it is intriguing.
